The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G have been on our radar for quite some time. 91mobiles has listed the Galaxy A55 5G on Thailand’s NBTC and the Galaxy A35 on Peru’s MTC Telecom registry. We also see the A35 placeholder on this site. So it looks like Samsung is gearing up for a global release. Here’s everything we know about the two Galaxy phones:

The NBTC render reveals the phone’s Galaxy A55 moniker and model number SM-A556E/DS.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 will come with dual 5G SIM support.
While the inclusion of a bundled charger remains uncertain, there’s a possibility that it will support 25W charging.
According to its Geekbench listing, it could feature an Exynos 1480 SoC with an Xclipse 530 GPU and 8GB of RAM. The maximum clock speed of the phone could be 2.75 GHz. In addition, you can get OneUI software based on Android 14.
We also know the phone’s design thanks to leaked renders published at the beginning of January.
In comparison, both the Galaxy A34 and A54 brought a 6.6-inch 120Hz FHD+ sAMOLED panel, a 5000mAh battery with 25W USB-C charging, and OneUI 5.1 software based on Android 13. However, their processor and cameras differed.
In the realm of smartphones, the Galaxy A54 5G was powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC, whereas its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy A34 5G, featured an Exynos 1380 SoC.
In terms of cameras, the A54 had a 50MP+12MP+5MP triple camera system on the back and a 32MP front camera, while the Galaxy A34 had a 48MP+8MP+5MP rear camera setup and a 13MP selfie camera.
