In September of last year, Tecno introduced the POVA 5 and POVA 5 Pro smartphones to the Indian market. Both phones are priced under Rs 20,000 and will cater to the budget segment. It looks like Tecno is now planning to launch a successor to the POVA 5 series. The Tecno POVA 6 Pro has been spotted on the Google Play Console database. The listing reveals key details about the new Tecno phone as well as a look at its possible design.
Tecno POVA 6 Pro 5G listing on Google Play Console
- The Tecno POVA 6 Pro 5G has been listed on the Google Play Console database, confirming the phone’s imminent launch.
- The listing reveals that the Tecno POVA 6 Pro will feature an FHD (1080 x 2436 pixels) display with 480 DPI.
- The mobile device is set to run on the advanced MediaTek MT6833V chipset, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC paired with Mali G57 GPU and 12.2 GB RAM.
In terms of software, the Tecno POVA 6 Pro 5G will run on Android 14 out of the box. - There is also a device render, but we can’t get much out of it. Power button and volume buttons can be seen on the right side. The phone is also seen with curved edges and a tall display.
Tecno has not yet revealed anything official regarding the upcoming POVA 6 Pro smartphone. We anticipate receiving additional information on this matter in the near future. The POVA 6 Pro would replace the POVA 5 Pro, which is available in India at a starting price of Rs 14,999 for the base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is also the first Tecno phone to have an LED light design on the back. The design resembles the Glyph interface on the Nothing phone (2).
